About the free project, accessibility & our server

100% FREE TO USE · BUILT FOR ACCESSIBILITY

Creativity should be within reach.

This project exists to help disabled people listen to stories, turn text into speech and create talking-character videos. There is no subscription or purchase required, and donating is always optional.

The website introduces the tools and lets you request help. Generation currently happens on our private local server; it is not an unlimited public rendering service. Availability depends on the time and computing capacity we have.

We need voluntary donations to help keep the project free, cover running costs and work towards a bigger, faster server. We also want to keep improving accessible controls and the experience for disabled users.

THE SERVER BEHIND THE PROJECT

One real PC.
A bigger ambition.

Generation currently runs on a private Windows PC. Heavy jobs run one at a time, so longer books and videos can mean a wait. The public website does not provide access to the private studio or ComfyUI.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

8 CPU cores · 16 threads

48 GB RAM

System memory for models, books and generated media

NVIDIA RTX 5070

12 GB VRAM-class GPU for local AI generation

Local creative tools

ComfyUI video workflows, offline English voices and offline English ↔ Slovenian translation. Slovenian Petra narration needs an online speech service.

Hardware verified on 25 October 2026. Upgrade specifications, budget and performance gains are not yet confirmed.

A CLEAR STARTING POINT

Your brief comes first.

Tell us what you would like to make, which language you need, the approximate length, and how you intend to use it. Reference images should be yours to use.

  1. Describe the projectShare the script length, audience, language and desired format.
  2. Choose a directionUse the demos to identify the voice and character style you prefer.
  3. Agree the scopeThe project is free. We confirm what is possible with the available computing capacity; submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a delivery date.
Where this project could go next

These are ideas for future development, not available services or promised delivery dates.

Exploring

More languages, less friction

Clearer voice setup and more multilingual examples.

Exploring

Stories you can follow in more ways

Better text highlighting, editable captions and accessible reading experiences across devices.

Capacity dependent

More room to create

A public generation queue may become possible with suitable hosting, privacy controls and computing capacity. It is not connected today.

Our direction stays the same: free access, useful tools and accessible controls. Donations remain optional and do not buy priority or rewards.
